Each year, the Carolinas Silver Reel volunteers provide reciprocal judging to our partner chapter, and that chapter, in turn, judges our entries. Special thanks to Silver Reels Judging Chair Nancy Rich and Reciprocal Judging Chair Stuart Watson who organized the receipt of the Carolinas' entries and put together this year's roster of reciprocal panel hosts. About 100 ITVA members from RDC and across the Carolinas came together this year to organize, host and serve on judging panels and you wouldn't be here Great Judging is Key to Silver Reels!
tonight if it weren't for these folks.Judging an ITVA panel is a monumental responsibility as well as a big honor. It is an opportunity to eat, drink, be merry and exchange ideas with friends and peers. But most important of all, it's a time for serving our ITVA chapter and our industry. When we volunteer to judge tapes we're providing a truly outstanding benchmark--a high standard to shoot for--maybe even art to emulate. And we inspire non-winners with good, insightful, constructive criticisms. The support of these panel judges keeps all ITVA chapters
vibrant and exciting. The Silver Reels Committee salutes and thanks the following dedicated volunteers who wrangled together committees, supplied the all-important refreshments and led their panels in judging excellence.
